10 Annoying Things That Happen In The Classrooms Every Student Can Relate to

The four walls of the classroom can be fun but most of the time very annoying. At that moment all you wish for is to graduate from school.
Below are 10 annoying things that happen in the classroom every student can relate with.

1. When someone reminds the teacher about homework

Some classmates can be very forward and annoying. That moment when the class is almost over and, in your mind, you feel your teacher has forgotten about an assignment, and one of your “Over Sabi” classmates reminds your teacher.

2. when your teacher shares your exam score with the class.

It is one thing to know you have failed, then it hits differently when the teacher decides to read the scores out in class and your crush is in class. You just feel like the world should end. Once you hear your name you start to shiver.

3. When the teacher announces that the person with the best grade had “C”

At this moment before you see your grade you just start scoring yourself in your head to know if you at least made a D so you don’t have to repeat the exam.

4. When you've not written much and the teacher says.. submit.

That moment when you hear submit when for 40 minutes you could not remember anything but 5 minutes to the end of the test you start writing your answers.

5. When you are called out to answer a question.

At this moment you know you have disgraced yourself and your family. All you could wish for is that you were invisible in the class or that moment never came.

6. When the teacher gives emergency test during first period.

This is when you start telling your self you would have listened to your spirit to read before the class. Immediately you start flipping through your notes to cram as much as you can.

7. When the teacher extends the time meant for their period.

This hits terribly. At this very time, you are no longer in the classroom. Your body is there but your mind is somewhere else. You feel so pained and wish your teacher was sick and absent.

8. When the teacher gives a group work but your group members are insane.

Once your teacher assigns you to a group you just start to weep in your soul because you are about to do the group work alone.

9. When the teacher extends deadline for submission of assignments and practicals.

Imagine you skipped a fun time with friends just to meet up with your assignment deadline and then your class representative calls to tell you the assignment deadline has been extended.

10. When the teacher punishes the whole class because of one person.

All you could wish for was just never to have been in school that day or not be a member of that class. You just feel the universe dislikes you.

We’re yet to have any meaningful engagement with Federal Government over strike, says ASUU

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has disclosed that it was yet to have any meaningful engagement with the Federal Government since the union embarked on an indefinite strike. The university teachers, had on March 23, 2020, embarked on strike in protest against government’s directive for members to join the integrated payroll and personnel Information System (IPPIS), payroll software mandated for all public officials. The Federal Government had last year directed that all its employees should be enrolled under the IPPIS scheme by December 31 or their salaries would be withheld. The directive did not go down well with ASUU members and they never failed to make it known to their employers. Few days to the deadline, some ASUU members were said to have secretly enrolled on the platform, while some others, especially their leaders, refused to join. All efforts to persuade them failed; rather they embarked on two weeks warning strike. The national president o
