Forming reading habit

Reading has been the challenge of many people across the globe. While others sees it to be stressful, some sees it to be incomprehendible.many people (especially students) wants to form reading culture, but because they don't know how to read and understand, it will seem to be impossible.

When you want to read and comprehend, you have to make sure the environmental factors that'll favour your reading are in place, such factors include:
-Reading in a noise free area.
-Reading in area free from pollution.
-Reading in an area with little or no distractions.
-Reading in a well ventilated area.
When these factors are put in place, then the next is to make sure you read with enthusiasm. Don't force yourself to read, try to adjust your mental being at the moment.if you don't feel like reading, then you have to make yourself feel so in order to read, if not, it’ll be a waste of time.
Again is knowing where to start the reading from.
A writer, in a interview was asked by the interviewer what writing feels like to him, he gave an astonishing reply, he said “To me, writing is like taking a cold bath at the peak of harmattan (Harmattan is a weather condition in the tropical African regions during the 3rd-4th quarter of the year. Temperature during this period can go as low as -2 to -20°c). For me to achieve this cold bath in such temperature, I'll need to start the bath from the less nerve sensitive areas, then to the most sensitive areas, during this transition from the less sensitive areas to the sensitive areas, the bath becomes enjoyable even admist the cold weather temperature". This answer he gave to the interviewer.
That answer can be applicable to reading, the less sensitive parts are the parts with easier understanding while the most sensitive parts are the parts that might seem complex to understand. During the transition from the understandable ones to the complex ones, a catalyst is created to enhance comprehensive rate, by so doing, reading becomes enjoyable and flexible and in no time, if it's continuously done will become an addiction.
Also, understanding is never to be faked nor forced, Humans have different Cerebral capacity, some understanding requires time, that's why the earlier the reading, the better the understanding.
For people that don't know how to start reading, always remember that the best way to start something is to start it.

Form a reading culture today.

According to research, an average of five hundred thousand (500,000) students graduate from Nigerian higher institutions nationwide annually and estimate of one hundred thousand (100,000) Nigerian students graduate from foreign schools annually. Research said that out of all these graduates, 47% remain unemployed while 22% get employed to do minor jobs with very low payment rate. What happened? they've accessed the success key, why don't they just start succeeding? isn't education the key to success anymore? Was the key changed? Well, we were partially lied to.
