Steps To Confirm Your O’level Results Are Uploaded on JAMB Website

M any candidates have been asking, “How to check and confirm that my O’level WAEC/NECO results have been uploaded on JAMB Portal”. Already JAMB and various schools have been notifying candidates to ensure they upload their results in order to be considered for admission. Most students had already uploaded their results to their school portals (during post UTME/screening registration) and there’s no need to worry about that. WAEC concludes 70th NEC meeting, reveals decision on withheld results and malpractice cases

  The Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC), of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) at the end of its 70th meeting in Lagos, has released a communique on the sanctions and decisions it has taken concerning all established cases of examination malpractice recorded during the conduct of the 2020 May/June examination. According to the communique released,  entire results of candidates found in proven cases of examination malpractice would be cancelled. Similarly, candidates involved in proven cases of malpractice in a particular subject will have the result for that subject cancelled. In addition, some candidates will also suffer other sanctions Such as barring them from sitting tor the council’s examinations for a certain number of years, some schools will be derecognized tor a specified number of years or have all their recognition completely withdrawn, some supervisors that were found wanting in the discharge of their examination duties will be formally reported to their employ

JAMB CAPS 2020 Updates and additional features

  JAMB has disclosed some additional features and updates that will be on JAMB CAPS for 2020. All candidates for the 2020/2021 admission exercise are advised to go through these as it will help them know what is expected of them as well as what is expected of different schools in the admission process. JAMB CAPS 2020 Updates and additional features -Before a candidate can be moved or transferred to another  programme , there would be transfer alert (notification from CAPS) to the candidate to either accept or reject the transfer. If s/he presses YES, s/he moved to the new  programme  & MUST be admitted If s/he presses NO or SILENT (No response), the candidate remains and cannot be moved anywhere. At the point of Acceptance, s/he would be notified to do change of  programme to be able to print his/her admission letter -No institution would be able to move candidates into merit level unless ALL positive candidates above him/her are admitted either by merit, catchment or  ELDS -After
