10 Annoying Things That Happen In The Classrooms Every Student Can Relate to

The four walls of the classroom can be fun but most of the time very annoying. At that moment all you wish for is to graduate from school.
Below are 10 annoying things that happen in the classroom every student can relate with.

1. When someone reminds the teacher about homework

Some classmates can be very forward and annoying. That moment when the class is almost over and, in your mind, you feel your teacher has forgotten about an assignment, and one of your “Over Sabi” classmates reminds your teacher.

2. when your teacher shares your exam score with the class.

It is one thing to know you have failed, then it hits differently when the teacher decides to read the scores out in class and your crush is in class. You just feel like the world should end. Once you hear your name you start to shiver.

3. When the teacher announces that the person with the best grade had “C”

At this moment before you see your grade you just start scoring yourself in your head to know if you at least made a D so you don’t have to repeat the exam.

4. When you've not written much and the teacher says.. submit.

That moment when you hear submit when for 40 minutes you could not remember anything but 5 minutes to the end of the test you start writing your answers.

5. When you are called out to answer a question.

At this moment you know you have disgraced yourself and your family. All you could wish for is that you were invisible in the class or that moment never came.

6. When the teacher gives emergency test during first period.

This is when you start telling your self you would have listened to your spirit to read before the class. Immediately you start flipping through your notes to cram as much as you can.

7. When the teacher extends the time meant for their period.

This hits terribly. At this very time, you are no longer in the classroom. Your body is there but your mind is somewhere else. You feel so pained and wish your teacher was sick and absent.

8. When the teacher gives a group work but your group members are insane.

Once your teacher assigns you to a group you just start to weep in your soul because you are about to do the group work alone.

9. When the teacher extends deadline for submission of assignments and practicals.

Imagine you skipped a fun time with friends just to meet up with your assignment deadline and then your class representative calls to tell you the assignment deadline has been extended.

10. When the teacher punishes the whole class because of one person.

All you could wish for was just never to have been in school that day or not be a member of that class. You just feel the universe dislikes you.

What university catchment area is all about

Each federal university in Nigeria has its own catchment areas. The catchment areas of a university (note that catchment areas apply to only federal universities) are those areas (states) that a federal university is geographically connected to. According to the federal government’s admission policy, if your state of origin is recognized as part of the catchment area of the federal university you applied to study, you will stand a better chance of securing admission into that university than someone else whose state of origin is not recognized as part of the university’s catchment area. University of Benin (UNIBEN) for instance has Edo, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross-River, Delta, Edo, Rivers State as its catchment areas. Let’s say two candidates apply for medicine and Surgery in University Of Benin, one of them is from Delta State and the other one is from Enugu State. Let’s assume the one from Delta State has a UTME score of 220 and the one from Enugu ahs a UTME score of 245; the o...

JAMB Announces How many Times Candidates Can Change Course/Institution

For JAMB candidates asking, “How Many Times Can I Do Change of Course and Institution?”, “Can I change My course and institution again after changing it the first time?” JAMB has officially answered your question. Read details below; Before now candidates who wish to effect changes on either their course and institution could only do it twice (2 times). However, things have changed. Now, changing of course/institution can now be done as many times as possible provided you’re ready to pay for it, have the requirements to study the course and institution you are changing to and if the school you are changing to is still allowing candidates to change to it. So candidates are allowed to change as many times as they want, provided they meet the requirements and conditions as state above. However, candidates against going to unapproved CBT centres for their change of course/ Institution and data correction. This is to avoid mistakes during the process. JAMB or institutions will no...
