Engagements students can earn from while awaiting resumption

It's no longer new that school isn't resuming soon since the federal government has been unable to ascertain the demands of ASUU and ASUU on its side isn't ready to settle for anything less.

The battle for resumption is still ongoing and resumption of academic activities won't be successful if both parties don't come to a definite agreement.

Students being the most negatively affected have little or no part to play in resolving the issue.

In the absence of academic activities,it's not ideal for a student to just sit and await resumption without doing something that can generate income. It's advisable to find something meaningful to do and also hope for better news concerning resumption.

Since lockdown has been lifted in almost all parts of the nation and movement has been eased, it'll be more advisable for them to engage themselves with  meaningful things to do and earn from them rather than wasting time.

 Skill acquisition:

The need for skill acquisition cannot be overemphasized. Unemployment rate is growing rapidly and still at that, there's no sustainable payment for those that were employed. It'll be advisable for students to take advantage of the opportunity to acquire skills. Also note that resumption might kick off any given time so it's also advisable to go for skills that can be comprehended within a short period of time.

Trading:

There are series of subsistent and commercial trading activities that students can engage themselves with that does not require high capital to start and also not limited to location and time. Most trading can also be don't online but one needs to be careful in order not to get scammed.
It was also discovered that most students are using this period to fill up academic gaps that were made as results of one thing or the other. most even went ahead to teach themselves with the help of the internet. It's also advisable to do such because resumption might come with alot if rush and sudden tests/examinations which might not give students time to prepare fully.
Here is a summary of some engagements that's capable of generating income for students and requires little or no capital for start-up
Skills:
Hair dressing
Baking
Face/body makeup artistry
Computer training and graphics designing/animations
Bead making, head wear designs, e.t.c
Shoe making, handbag designs and printings. E.T.C
Trading:
Sales of costumes and clothes
Network marketing and sales of telecommunication products(with mobile phones and laptops)
Entrepreneurship skill development
 Educational:
Reading ahead for a better academic understanding
Writing/publishing articles and ebook in the web.
Note: the aforementioned skills, trades and educational engagements are ones that don't take much time to comprehend, little capital for start-up and little compromise to achieve respectively. Students can also engage in ones aside the aforementioned that will favour them. It's not advisable to just sit and wait for resumption. Be occupied with something meaningful.
